And matt dawson, part of the winning side in 2003, claims england appear to have the right mentality to be successful on saturday. Hello, youre watching harping on about 2003, no one afternoon live from westminster im simon mccoy. Today at two. The eu agrees an extended brexit celebrates if you have got your deadline of january 31st hands on the trophy. England have been like that all the way through but says if the prime ministers brexit withdrawal deal the tournament, have been very is approved by mps polite, well mannered to their supporters and encouraging, but they britain could still leave this year. Looks dead. Later today, mps will vote on his call for an election i love the whole atmosphere, the with all eyes on the opposition social. The fact it is injapan parties to see what they will do. And they have held a magnificent in other news instagram is to ban tournament. I think that probably all images showing people how to hurt or kill themselves helps. To think england have now got after 14 year old Molly Russell took her own life. A genuine chance picking up that trophy and from a rugby perspective, lorry driver Maurice Robinson appears in court, charged i would love to be able to go and with the manslaughter of 39 people have a beer with ben youngs and found dead in a refrigerated trailer in essex. Compared notes and see what it is like now compared to 16 years ago. They are individuals, they have been sensational. I know there were headlines from some of the back row at the weekend. I have got to say, one to 15 that have played in that white shirt, particularly over the last two weeks against australia and new zealand, have been magnificent. The question will be can they maintain that form, can they perform at that level against a team in south africa who bored the pants off wales and managed to scrape over the line with an incredible effort from wales. So, very contrasting methods of play, but i truly believe that england have a game plan that can take on anyone. They have the physicality and the mentality and they have the support. Arsenal manager unai emery has criticised his captain for how he reacted to supporters booing him during their draw with crystal palace. Granit xhaka was substituted during the second half at the emirates and swore at the fans before taking his shirt off as he stormed down the tunnel. Arsenal had already thrown away a 2 0 lead. But on match of the day 2, ian wright wasnt impressed. We are talking about are fans that have watched him play in the four years he has been there, a handful of good games and he has treated fans like that. He should apologise as the captain. He should have apologised already. And if he apologises, that it is the end of it . It is not the end of it. But that is the guy they have chosen as captain and that is not captains behaviour. Lewis hamilton will have to wait at least another week to claim his sixth world formula one title thats despite winning the mexico grand prix. He came from third on the grid to win what was a very tense race. He will now clinch his sixth championship at the us grand prix next sunday as long as he does not lose more than 22 points to his Mercedes Team mate valtteri bottas. Tiger woods has equalled the pga tour record of 82 tournament wins. He did it by winning the zozo championship injapan his first event since having his fifth knee operation nine weeks ago. He won his first pga title 23 years ago this month. He has come back and at the very first opportunity he has won and in so doing he has moved alongside sam snead, one of the legendary records in the game of golf, an 82nd victory. He met sam snead as a five year old and snead was quite impressed because that little five year old tiger woods was able to get the ball out of the water and make a bogey on the par three. My goodness me, in 23 years of his professional career, tiger woods has just rewritten record book after record book. Ill have more for you in the next hour. Thank you very much. Instagram says it will remove all images showing people how to hurt or kill themselves, including explicit drawings and cartoons. The move follows concerns raised by the death of Molly Russell, the 14 year old who took her own life in 2017 after viewing graphic material online. Earlier her father ian spoke to victoria derbyshire, about what hes learnt since mollys death. There are many things that i have learnt since molly has died. The first of them is nothing to do with social media. I think that is the prevalence of Mental Ill Health. I was lulled into a false sense of security, i thought it was something that didnt happen that often and probably to other and probably to other people, in a misguided way. But there are figures that show that that Something Like one in four of us will suffer an episode of Mental Ill Health in any given year. It is really quite common. So i think the first thing that is important for us all to know, particularly young people as they are growing up, is it is almost to be expected that at some point in your life you will have a bad day. I think we are quite used to that. And then when you know that, it is important to know how to know how to react. Because i suspect molly found herself in a bad place and she was always someone who was very good at solving her own problems, she was very independent, gorgeous and warm and adoring and would ask for help. But if she could sort things out for herself, she would. And my belief is that she, as many youngsters would, she looked for help on the internet, because that is where you find all sorts of lovely answers. And she may well have received tremendous support and good advice, but among that good advice and support, she found harmful content, she found it very easily and she found it in places that i had no idea such content would exist. She found it on public platforms such as instagram, content that encouraged self harm, content that give you tips on how to do it so that you wouldnt be discovered. Content that linked self harm to depression and suicide. Content that normalised that sort of world. Content that persuaded people who saw it that there was no alternative and no future, and any future was very bleak. And content that, in the end, helped persuade molly to end her life. The case focuses on her pay for newswatch, which was £465 per programme, compared tojeremy vines pay for the Similar Programme points of view, which was up to £3,000 per episode. The bbc says points of view is a household name with a long history, while newswatch is not. A taxi driver accused of killing the mother of his children and dumping her body has been convicted of her murder. Woolwich crown court heard that 39 year old ben lacomba had killed his 46 year old ex partner, sarah wellgreen, in a calculated manner designed to avoid detection. Ms wellgreen disappeared in october 2018, and her body has never been found. Despite splitting up four years beforehand, she still lived with mr lacomba, at their home in New Ash Green at the time. He told the court he was asleep in bed on the night of the alleged killing, but the prosecution argued that he switched off a cctv system and parked his car in an unusual spot, in order to evade detection. A date for his sentencing is yet to be decided. The long awaited Public Inquiry report into what happened on the night of the Grenfell Tower fire is due to be released on wednesday. 72 people died in the tragedy. The report will look at how the fire started, and how it spread. Graham satchell has been to meet sandra ruiz, whose12 year old niecejessica was one of those who died. 71 people died on that night and a further one died later. We need answers. I often get asked, dont you think its time to start focusing on Something Else on your own life . No. I cant. Because if there is one more loss of life out of similar circumstances, how can we move on . Sandra lost her niece, jessica urbano, in the fire at Grenfell Tower. Jessica wasjust 12. She was a beautiful, bubbly full of life, a joy to everyone around. She was very funny. And we miss her. A lot. On the night of the fire, jessica was on her own. Her mum was at work, cleaning and office overnight. Jessica rang the fire service and was told to stay put. At no time was she asked to leave. Um. They were told that the firemen were coming up to save them. And no one did. No one did. Jessica was on the phone for 55 minutes. It was the longest call of the night. The line was still open when she died. To my mind, hers was a managed death. The public enquiry heard that the fire at Grenfell Tower was out of control after 27 minutes, but the stay put policy, telling residents to remain in their flats, was left in place for almost two hours. The fact that no one took charge in starting an evacuation early on, the fact that they didnt know how to evacuate people, really, from that type of building, baffles me. Had they evacuated early on, we would have had a lot less lives lost. The remit of the enquirys first report is narrow. It will look at the events of the night, how the fire started and spread, and the fire service is likely to be criticised. But the bigger questions about building regulations, the role of the local authority and construction companies, blame, and justice wont be addressed until next year. And still, today, there are hundreds of tower blocks across the country covered in combustible cladding. This stuff is on halls of residence, its on hospitals, and its on all sorts of public buildings. You know, it isntjust our battle its everybodys battle. I need to see people blamed. I need to see people go behind bars for this. How else can we get any peace . The headlines on bbc news another brexit delay as the eu agrees an extended deadline of january 31st, potentially putting off britains withdrawal by three months. Here mps prepare to vote this afternoon on whether to back a december election. Maurice robinson a lorry driverfrom County Armagh has appeared in court, charged with manslaughter, Money Laundering and people trafficking after 39 people were found dead in a lorry in essex. Tonights inside out north east programme looks at how easy it is to find someone else to write your essays. There are now calls for Essay Writing Services to be criminalised in the uk. Chris jackson reports. This is andrew. Hes finishing an essay for tomorrows deadline. But andrew isnt a student. He works for an Essay Writing Service. Type it into a Search Engine and you will see the huge volume of Companies Offering to write an assignment for you. We decided to test it out. The cost really depends on how quickly you want it, how long the essay has to be. And most importantly, what grade you want for it. A 1000 word 2 2 standard essay, with a weeks delivery time, will set our reporter catherine back just over £100. But if she wanted a first, and by tomorrow, you are talking nearly £600. With the order in, i have sent catherine on a mission. Posing as a student doing a survey, she went to three north east universities. Have you ever used a and Essay Writing Service . Do you know anybody who has . Yeah, ido. My friends. No one admitted they used an Essay Writing Service, but out of 60 students, ten said they had a friend who had, and 12 said they would consider using one themselves. Would you ever consider using one . Yeah, potentially. Maybe, if i really needed it, i guess. But these companies claim that they are just offering model answers and the broad essay should be rewritten by the student who paid for it. Andrew used to work for a firm called oxbridge essays. The first indication that it is not just a model essay is how incredibly specific the clients are. Being within word count, making sure the references are written out in full with no faults. I mean, these things are only necessary if you are submitting a final polished piece. Why would you go to an Essay Writing Company and pay you that pay them that money . There is one reason for that, and that reason is because you can submit that work as your own and because they have said on their website, 100 plagiarism free. We wanted to talk to oxbridge essays. Instead, the company sent us a statement. It said the purpose of the model assignments is explicitly clear to its customers from the outset. It said students are paired with experts and academics in the subject subject area, providing material the student can use as a springboard for their own research. Warnings to students not to submit model assignments as their own work are frequently set out on its website, including in the terms and conditions. Andrew says he has earned a Healthy Living writing essays. But the authorities have a warning for students. Pass someones elses work off as your own and youre out. Chris jackson, bbc news. A group of mps say Online Banking crashes are happening too often, and they re calling for the rules to be tightened. The report by the Treasury Committee said the problems leading to customer disruption happened about ten times a month and that with Bank Branches and cash machines closing, there was a greater urgency to make sure Online Banking worked. The report said fines and more regulation may be needed. Argentinas left wing candidate Alberto Fernandez has won the countrys president ial election. The election took place in the middle of an economic crisis which has left a third of the country in poverty, and the result is being seen as a vote against austerity. Spain has the highest number of organ donors in the world thats because of a so called opt out system that presumes youve consented for your organs to be used, unless you state otherwise. Next year, here in the uk, england and scotland will follow wales by introducing the same system. But how has the system worked in spain . Lisa summers reports from barcelona. In the north of barcelona there is a hospital that has played a pivotal role in transforming spains Organ Donation system. Vall dherbron pioneered the role of doctors as transplant coordinators key to the success of the countrys high donor rates. In the intensive care unit, this doctor has come to discuss a patient. A woman who will not survive after having a stroke, her family have consented to her becoming an organ donor. We need to discuss patient by patient the suitability of this patient as a possible donor. And sometimes we need to have discussions, clinical discussions, with oncologists and physicians. Being a doctor makes things easier because it allows us to take clinical decisions. Translation my husband always said we should help other people. He was a very generous person. Just a few more a few months ago, gemma found herself in a similar situation. Her husband suffered a brain haemorrhage. He was able to save the lives of three others. Translation thats the first thing i thought. I thought, lets learn something from this misfortune and thats what i told my kids. I told my kids, your dad is going to make someone happy. Spain has the highest rates of Organ Donation in the world. 48 people per million of the population. But in the uk that number is 24. Evidence suggests changing the law on its own will not lead to an increase in donors. In spain, Public Awareness is good, but they have also worked hard over 30 years to train staff that its everyonesjob to think of Organ Donation. This is one of the busiest hospitals in spain. Over 7000 people work here, and the importance of Organ Donation is an integral part of the culture. The spanish model is a success because of public buy in. But the medical system also supports those willing to give to life in the face of tragedy. I think the spanish population is very proud of the spanish model of Organ Donation. They think if they donate they will get more chances to receive when it happens. Your relative has given a Second Opportunity to so many people. And they are so proud and relieved. And im sure it helps in with the grieving. Translation its a way that i use to imagine my husband living on in other people. Lisa summers, bbc news. California has declared an emergency as wildfires sweep through the state. The Governors Office has described the situation as unprecedented. In Northern California, the authorities have ordered nearly 200,000 people to leave their homes. Rhodri davies reports. The race is on in Northern California to keep wildfires hemmed in and to get residents out. About 180,000 of them have already evacuated and more may follow. Although i have heard some people express concerns that we are evacuating too many people, i think those concerns are not valid at this point. As we see from this report we just received, our evacuation of healdsburg and windsor yesterday was well warranted, there is significant danger to anybody whos still in the Healdsburg Windsor area. Authorities are evacuating a huge area of sonoma county, including santa rosa city, where about 175,000 people live. There, cars have packed roads as people fled to safety.
