It was intense. We had a bolo. We knew we had to look out for someone that opened fire. Potentially a dangerous situation for our units, who were completely locked on, ready to go, had the vehicle fled, we would have stopped it. We were ready to engage. Frankly because of good tactics, getting them out of the vehicle, coming back to us, we were able to stabilise the scene without any further banners. That was the Martin County sheriff. Weve also heard from Vice President Kamala Harris. In a short statement, she said that she had been briefed on The Incident. She has expressed relief over the safety of her opponent. She says, violence has no place in america. Former secret Service Agent Barry Donadio says Law Enforcement says he is getting different sets of information on The Incident so far. I have heard we had shots potentially fired from outside the perimeter of the Golf Course and i have also heard that the assailant was possibly on one of the holes prior to where Former President Trip is going to be playing golf and was detected by a secret Service Agent, and at some point well find out more. I also heard shots were fired, im not quite certain if the Secret Service returned fire or not or local Law Enforcement, i also have heard that there was a firearm used, which is an Ak 47. That is a large Calibre Weapon you can hit targets well out to 800 metres with that right. He is now in custody. We dont know what the motive is as yet, but we understand that a weapon has been recovered, and we also understand that a Go Pro was sound our found at the scene which officials feel was being used or would have been used to film The Incident. We understand that the weapon involved is An Ak 1i7 Style Rifle which was found in the bushes, but i think one of the most striking lines that came out of that Press Conference was some detail that the individual was very near the Former president , up to 500 yards away, which with that kind of weapon would have been not a noticeable distance away.
