And from footballing novices to playing for england we meet the team heading to the first ever womens Amputee World Cup and coming up on Bbc News Pakistan dominate Day One of the Opening Test against england with two centuries helping the Home Side rack up the runs in multan. Good afternoon. Theres a day of ceremonies in israel to mark the first anniversary of the hamas attacks on October 7th last year, the deadliest day in the history of the state of israel. 1,200 people were killed and 250 taken hostage. It was a day that reshaped the Middle East, bringing War To Gaza where the hamas run Health Ministry says nearly 42,000 people have been killed, and now engulfing lebanon in conflict too. Yolande knell reports. Siren wails. Sirens marked the exact moment a year ago when israels deadliest day began. Waves of hamas fighters from gaza led a bloody attack on a dance festival, Army Bases and villages, seizing hostages. This is a day of painful remembrance. They destroyed our house and our life. Oh, god, where are you . This woman from Nir 0z going back to the home where her Mother And Niece were killed. Her Son And Daughter were kidnapped by hamas and held for 52 days before they were released in a truce deal. But she says they are still living the nightmare of the 7th Of October. Her Ex Husband is one of dozens of hostages stuck In Gaza. Last seen alive in a tunnel by his daughter. We know that every moment his life is. Can be gone. 0ur Life is on hold. We cant think. About future, we cant think about nothing else. Last years shocking assault triggered the deadliest ever war against palestinians. With relentless israeli bombardment. Most of Gazas Population forced from their homes. A humanitarian catastrophe. And every day brings new casualties. Last month an israeli Air Strike hit the Younis Family home, killing a six year old and his grandmother. Translation i want to know why. We are civilians, we pose no threat. Now in hospital, ahmed tries to cheer his surviving children with memories of happier days. They have lost all they owned and they are in constant pain. Translation i want my children and my wife to be treated. If i could, i would take them abroad. There is no safety. I hope from god that the war stops today before tomorrow. Instead, the fighting is now spreading in the Middle East, and that leaves many palestinians and israelis desperately worried that World Attention is shifting away from their suffering. Yolande knell, Bbc News, jerusalem. In a moment well hear from our Correspondent Hugo Bachega In Beirut, but first to Yolande Knell injerusalem. Yolande, one year on from the October 7th attacks, fresh Israeli Military Operations In Gaza . Indeed, and more rocket strikes as well. Israel has been holding these sombre ceremonies, protests, a year on since that raid that really shattered its sense of security and we have had hamas marking the anniversary by Firing Rockets towards tel aviv. We are not hearing about any casualties but it is trying to send a message of defiance after a year of War And Destruction In Gaza. Now, israelis were having to rush to bomb shelters in the centre of the country, also in the north where there were Hezbollah Fire with rockets hitting haifa and tiberias, a reminder that Israels Air defences dont guarantee 100 safety. Already we have had the israeli military hitting back In Gaza at a site in the very south where it says the latest rockets were launched from. Yesterday we had the israeli military saying it is launching a new, major operation in the north of the Gaza Strip and it has told people living there, there are about 300,000 people in that part of the strip, that they should leave. That is telling us that there is no let up still in this war. Thank you very much. Theres been more devastating airstrikes In Beirut overnight and our Middle East Correspondent Hugo Bachega sent us this report from one of the areas targeted by israels rockets. So, this is the site of an attack that happened earlier this morning, about six hours ago. There is still thick smoke rising from the location here. There is a heavy smell in the air. And over there another location that was hit this morning. And in between the buildings, we can see the destruction caused by these Air Strikes. Overnight, there were more Air Strikes here here. There were multiple secondary explosions. This is an indication that weapons and ammunition were being stored in the places hit. The israeli military has accused hezbollah of Hiding Weapons in residential Areas Something Hezbollah has denied. And we have seen that beirut has become a key target of the israeli military in this conflict against hezbollah. And here where hezbollah is based in the capital has been repeatedly hit. This is a densely populated disfrict here In Beirut and it is now completely empty. Hugojoins us now from beirut, and as we can see from your report there, theres no signs of the strikes on lebanon easing yet . Yes, and beirut is very much at the heart of the israeli offensive against hezbollah. These Air Strikes happen day and night, multiple times a day, every day. You can probably hear the sound of a drone flying overhead, which is the new reality here In Beirut. In the south of the country there are signs that this israeli Ground Invasion is expanding. The israeli military this morning announced additional troops are being sent to the border with lebanon. And today the lebanese Health Ministry said at least ten firefighters were killed in an israeli attack on a municipal building in the town in the south of the country. We have seen there is a growing number of rescue workers, medical teams who have been killed as a result of these israeli Air Strikes, more than 100 according to the lebanese authorities. Hezbollah has been weakened by weeks of Air Strikes but continues to fire rockets at israel. Today some rockets at israel. Today some rockets penetrated Israels Air defences and there were hits in haifa and tiberias. Hezbollah, to mark the first anniversary of the 7th Of October attacks, issued a statement. It said, we are confident in the ability of our resistance to repel the israeli aggression. So hezbollah has been weakened but remains defiant. Hezbollah has been weakened but remains defiant. Hugo pachanga In Beirut. Downing street says the Prime Minister is focused on delivering the change he promised during the Election Campaign following the departure of Sue Gray as the prime Ministers Chief of staff. She resigned from herjob after Sir Keir Starmer had decided she could no longer stay in the role. Our political correspondent Helen Catt is in westminster. Is this going to draw a line under the governments recent troubles . I think that is certainly the intention at the very least, to stop the regular drumbeat of damaging leaks and claims about what has been going on, the tensions behind the doors of number ten, much of which have been focused on Sue Gray. The Prime Minister, we understand, had decided last week that she could no longer carry on with thatjob. Over the weekend she has resigned and has agreed to take a differentjob outside number ten, part time, agreed to take a differentjob outside numberten, part time, lower post, linked to the council of nations and regions. There is no getting away from this that this is very soon to be making this kind of change. It does seem to acknowledge it has not got off to the start it wanted. But Downing Street this lunchtime is downplaying that, suggesting that it was right to reflect on the first few weeks and months in office and that the appointments at the Prime Minister has now made will strengthen the Downing Street operation. The biggest of those is the appointment of morgan mcsweeney, who ran the Election Campaign, and it had been claimed was in a bit of a Power Struggle with Sue Gray to her old job. There have also been promotions to other people who have got more political experience and perhaps that might help them avoid some of the political risk and steps and a repeat of those we have seen so far. A consultant working on the unit where former Nurse Lucy Letby attacked and killed babies has told a public inquiry she felt managers wanted doctors to Shut Up and Bullied And Victimised them when they raised their suspicions about her. Our special Correspondentjudith Moritz is at the inquiry. What else did the consultant say . Well, we cant identify this consultant because her name is protected by a court order. We can just say that she is being referred to in court here as Doctor Z a, and she was a consultant on the neonatal unit in chester were Lucy Letby was at the time when she was convicted of the crimes in 2015 and 16. The consultant has told the story of how the managers at the hospital, how their attitude changed over the time. The consultants had been trying to raise their concerns about Lucy Letby when they first spotted she was present each time a baby collapsed or died. At that point she said that managers were ignoring her. But then she said as time passed and the consultants became more convinced that actually Lucy Letby was causing deliberate harm, that the manager is mood hardened as well. She said they began to be ignored, but then they became actively Bullied And Victimised and were told to Shut Up. She cited a meeting in January 2017 with were told to Shut Up. She cited a meeting inJanuary 2017 with the Chief Executive of the hospital Tony Chambers who said he was drawing a line under the matter and it was something if they cross would be a real problem. She said such was the tone that she went home that night and checked whether she could afford to pay her mortgage if she lost her job. She said it was though the consultants had been called into the headmaster prosper office and treated like naughty schoolchildren. This consultant also accepted her failings, that she failed to order postmortem of the babies and failed to get the Test Results of another baby. She said the what had been so busy at that time that it became easier for Lucy Letby to hide what she was doing. Easier for Lucy Letby to hide what she was doing she was doing. Judith moore its reporting inquests are beginning in birmingham into the deaths of dozens of patients who were operated on by the disgraced surgeon Ian Paterson. Hes serving a 20 Year Prison Sentence after performing operations that were both unnecessary and unregulated. Phil mackie reports. This is the disgraced surgeon Ian Paterson arriving at nottingham Crown Court for his trial. Described as charismatic and charming, jurors convicted him of 17 counts of wounding with intent and three of unlawful wounding, after carrying out unnecessary surgeries on nine women and one man. He was initiallyjailed for 15 years, but the sentence was later raised to 20 years after being found to be unduly lenient. He had worked at two private hospitals in and near birmingham and at an Nhs Hospital in solihull. A public inquiry found opportunities to stop him had been repeatedly missed. My report sets out what can only be described as wilful blindness in relation to Patersons Behaviour and abhorrent clinical practice. Paterson treated hundreds of patients who thought that he had their best interests at heart. Instead, many were left disfigured by botched or unnecessary operations. His unregulated cleavage Sparing Mastectomies in which Breast Tissue was left behind meant the disease returned in many of his patients. He operated on Catherine Coyne in 2002. She died six years later. Hers is one of 62 inquests currently listed to take place. We want to know did cathy have the right treatment, was it in the right sequence . And could things have been done differently . It also goes on to systemic side and about organisations, did they do the right thing . There are so many inquests here that the whole process is likely to take at least 11 months and unless there are any delays the next week or so will probably be taken up by legal argument, before we get to the beginning of the evidence. For survivors of his botched operation, the hearings are expected to provide many answers too. Phil mackie, Bbc News, birmingham. Our top story this afternoon Memorial Events are being held today to mark one year since the hamas attacks on israel. And an undercover investigation has caught out the Food Outlets that are misleading customers about their hygiene ratings. An explosion has ripped through a building in alloa in clackmannanshire, leaving one man dead and three people injured. Our Scotland Correspondent Catriona renton is at the scene. Do we know what caused the blast . You can see the damage to the up thor flat over there. Such was the force of the blast that Debris And Glass were blown across the street. We have seen cctv from a local hotel over the road, locals told us the noise was like nothing they have heard before, like a Sonic Boom that would have been heard for miles. Emergency services were called at around 6pm yesterday. A man who was inside the property was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people from the same block of flats were taken to hospital where they were taken to hospital where they were treated for minor injuries. We have spoken to eyewitnesss, two men told us the bang was so loud they thought something had crashed into the building. Another neighbour said they were sitting watching television and she heard an all mighty explosion. The Fire Service and police arrived quickly. A Rest Centre was set up for local people. Theyre still out of their homes. You can see scottish Gas Engineers are working outside the property, but police say the cause of the explosion is still unknown. Thank ou. An undercover Bbc Investigation has found that many Food Outlets, including sainsbury s, are misleading the public about their hygiene ratings. The law says everywhere that serves food . In england, wales and Northern Ireland has to be inspected and given a rating between zero and five. But our secret filming has revealed that some businesses lie about their hygiene scores. Heres guy lynn. Were undercover to expose the High Street takeaways, butchers and supermarkets who blatantly lie about theirFood Hygiene ratings. Five star. Not true. Five star. And nor is this. Both places have terrible Food Hygiene ratings. The law says that every place that serves food must be regularly checked by Food Safety officers, like these ones, before Rating A place and issuing a green sticker for the public to see. Five means Food Safety is very good. The lower numbers, serious concerns. 1 or 2 is somewhere thats got quite serious Food Hygiene risks. Potential for Food Poisoning such as e. Coli, campylobacter, salmonella, all those sort of things which are going to make you quite sick or even die. Yet time and again, the bbc found places lying in east london. Like this butcher, where we found a trap suggesting problems with mice and rodents. On the door its a three for satisfactory. The truth, zero urgent improvement needed. On the door, its a four at this cafe, but we know its a one due to major issues with cleanliness. But youve got four, so it means youre. So what . It means you like, clean and stuff . Exactly, eah. And five on the door here, yet the reality is a one, after inspectors found potential Contamination And Meat being sold months past its use by date. What does five mean . Five means its excellent. Huh . One is, a zero is the lowest. Yeah. Five is top class. This expert says those who lied about their ratings could be in serious trouble. They have deliberately put up signs, or left signs in place which dont match their rating. And that, to my mind, would be fraud. They know about it, theyve done nothing about it thats fraud. They werent potentially committing fraud, but shockingly, even sainsbury s was misleading customers for months. Five on the doors here and on the official sainsbury s website. Yet the real rating was a zero. Inspectors found Mouse Droppings and filth at this sainsbury s. This takeaway denied deception, blaming Staff Confusion over the ratings which have since improved. This butcher apologised and said it would retrain staff. This Cafe And Supermarket didnt respond. And sainsbury s said the Sticker And Web information was outdated, have now been corrected and the rating of this store has improved. Whats worrying is we found 27 places misleading the public. Food safety experts told us this is happening in many other parts of The Uk. Guy lynn, Bbc News. And they have kept with the campaign throughout even though its taken so long, which the length of it has been absolutely gruelling for everybody, and the length of it is just down to concealment and denial. That is all it is concealment and denial. And having to work so hard to uncover the truth, its been like ploughing through concrete. As autumn sets in it seems that trees may hang on to their leaves longer this year. The national trust says its because of the relatively wet spring and cool summer that weve had. It means some trees may be hanging on to their leaves for longer. It says trees have been stressed by the constant alternation between waterlogging of soil and drought. Heres simon king. Red, orange, Gold And Brown pops of colours in our trees signalling that we are now into autumn. After a warm, wet and dull spring, followed by a colder than average summer this year, The National Trust says its rangers are expecting our parklands, woodlands and gardens to look a little bit different this year. This summer has been a bit dull, with less sunshine and a bit cooler than we have been used to. It is still as warm as summers were 30 years ago, but the sunshine is down and this means that everythings running a bit late. What we want are bright sunny days that are warm and then cool nights that close the plants down so the Colours Cant be reallocated to the roots. As israel and the world hold Memorial Events to remember the hamas attacks a year ago today, intense fighting continues in the Middle East. Israeli forces are now at war on multiple fronts. Lets just take a look. In gaza, they are pressing on with their campaign to destroy hamas designated a Terror Organisation by The Uk. Its attacks on israel on 7th Of October last year, killed 1,200 people while more than 250 were taken hostage. And one year on, fighting on israels Northern Border has also intensified. Lebanon is the base for hezbollah, also classed as a Terror Group by the british government. Its backed by iran. And then there are the houthis in yemen also sponsored by iran. Theyve been attacking shipping In The Red Sea and have in turn been targeted by the us, uk, and israel. Iran as well as supporting all these groups against israel has become directly involved. The israelis have assassinated some of its most senior figures, and its launched missiles into israel the latest and largest last tuesday. Well as the ripples of War Spread across the Middle East, many, many families are living with the agony of October 7th and the conflict that has followed. Panoramas Jane Corbin has been speaking to two families one in israel, another In Gaza. A year ago, Doron Katz Asher and her two daughters, raz and aviv, were staying at her Mothers House in nir oz kibbutz. They were all taken hostage by hamas. Doron kept a diary while she was held In Gaza. She wrote to her husband, yoni, about how much they were missing him. The moment the family was taken hostage was filmed by hamas and seen by yoni. I saw my wife, some of the hamas men, puts a cover on her head. I saw my Girl Raz Purple dress, long golden hair. As they were taken into gaza, an israeli helicopter was firing above them. Doron s mother was killed. What do you think when you hear that they were shot by their own side . Its hard to to discover that at The Moment Of Truth and such horrifying moment the danger was from the idf helicopter. We need to tell ourselves the truth. And the truth is that in that day, all bets were off. It was chaos. Yeah, it was a chaos, and all bets were off. After 50 days in captivity, she and her children were released and returned to israel. Every day i look at them and i know that its a miracle that they are here. The un estimates that at least 14 people were killed in Friendly Fire on October 7th. In gaza too, life changed completely on that day. When this war started, her age was 11 months. Shes turning two years very soon. On october the 7th, this woman was living in Gaza City with her husband, as they came under israeli bombardment. Rushdi, a filmmaker, started documenting life under siege. Its very close. Its unbelievable. Theyjust attack again and again, over and over. Huge airstrike around our area now. The next morning, an israeli strike hit the building. Rushdi was killed. Shes really young to comprehend hat does it mean to what does it mean to lose a dear father . He would be always my best friend. Since then, shorouk has moved four times. You are my sunshine, my only sunshine shes now living in a camp in central gaza. There is no light by The End of this deep tunnel. They destroyed the buildings and also the near future of the gazan people. And you can see more on panorama October 7th one year on tonight at 9 oclock on bbc one. Lets get more analysis now from our correspondents. In a moment well speak to Nick Beake in northern israel, but first lets go to our Gaza Correspondent Rushdi abualouf, more Rocket Attacks in israel . Yes the israeli military saying 135 rockets have been fired so far today from lebanon by hezbollah into northern israel. In the past 20 minutes there have been alerts in two communities around where we are. Some of these rockets have been getting through the Iron Dome Defence that they have in israel. Actually others going further than we have seen in the past few weeks or so, we have seen in the past few weeks orso, including we have seen in the past few weeks or so, including the city of haifa, which is israels third biggest city. That has not been hit for nearly 20iers. 20 years. That shows how things are. If we step back and look at what is happening, you have the prospect of hamas firing from gaza, marking the anniversary in their own way of October 7th. You have the expansion of the conflict her. It is nearly a week ago that the israeli army went into lebanon to push back hezbollah so israelis can return to their homes next to the border. You have two fronts and civilians suffering, the 40 Thousand people In Gaza reported to have been killed and lebanese civilians forced from their homes. And what we are anticipating is israels response to the iranian Missile Attack of last tuesday. Israel says it will strike and irans said if that happens they will retaliate. And our correspondent is in london. What is your reflections on how gaza has changed how life for you has changed. You were living In Gaza with your family and youre had to move from gaza. For with your family and youre had to move from gaza. With your family and youre had to move from gaza. For the 2. 3 million eole in move from gaza. For the 2. 3 million peeple In Gaza. Over42,000 of sadness, Horror And Pain and much more. Over 42,000 people have been killed according to the Health Ministry and people are missing under collapsed buildings. 60 of gaza was destroyed. And two thirds of population, now they live in tents, in shelters south of khan younis. And today a fresh Evacuation Order to the people in northern gaza, following a Rocket Attack by hamas was issued by the israeli army. They said you have to leave this area. And you know, i have been In Gaza and i know what is the meaning of Evacuation Order. Youre given a very small amount of time to back up everything and leave to a place. Even though the area is full of people and you dont know if you go to this so called Safe Area it is safe, because it has been targeted many times in the last year. Many times in the last year. Erik ten hag says he would have been told if his job was under threat, with a goalless draw at Aston Villa the latest in what has become Manchester Uniteds worst start to a Premier League season. United Captain Bruno fernandes came closest to scoring when his free kick hit the bar as their problems up front continued. But ten hag dropped more than £85 million worth of talent in defence, and it worked. Their clean sheet was only their third in seven Premier League matches. But it didnt help them move up from 14th in the table, as ten hag faces mounting pressure with a Manchester United Board Meeting scheduled for tuesday. I speak continually with them. And just after the game i have to do myjob, talk to the players, manage the players and answer questions for you. We always talk. Every week, i would say every day we talk. While most were expecting Villa Park to deliver the Premier League drama of the day it actually came at brighton where Tottenham Manager Ange Postecoglu described their defeat as the worst hes witnessed since hes been at the club. Spurs were leading 2 0 at half time, only for brighton to come back with three goals of their own in 20 second half minutes to win it 3 2. Danny welbeck completing the turnaround as brighton went above spurs into sixth. Like tottenham, Chelseas Run of five straight wins came to an end. But they did come from behind to get a 1 1 draw against Nottingham Forest in a game that ended in a melee that involved nearly all the players and subs. Chelsea were shown six yellow cards, which will likely mean a fine, but Boss Enzo Maresca said his team dont have a disciplinary problem. England have now beaten Womens World champions New Zealand three times in under a year after a ruthless Attacking Display in their Wxv1 Victory in canada last night. Jess breach got a Hat Trick as the Red Roses scored nine tries for a second game in a row. And their 49 31 win is their 19th in succession, taking them closer to successfully defending their Wxv Title with one match of the tournament to go. Thats against hosts canada next weekend. I think its massively good for us, the opportunity to back up our performance from two weeks ago and then do it here again at wxv is massive. I think we have quite a young squad and some of those players who will actually have played New Zealand and only have beaten New Zealand, so when you look at those statistics, its great, but then also i think for us, we want to play the best teams in the world, and thats what this tournament gives us. Now it might have only been a preSeason Game, but nevertheless history was made in Los Angeles on Sunday Night as lebron and bronnyjames became the first Father And Son to play together in the nba. Bronny made his lakers debut on his 20th birthday, joining his dad on the court during the second quarter of las defeat to the phoenix suns. He was selected in the second round of this Years Draft to become a laker alongside lebron, whos signed a new two Year Deal to stay with the team during the first part of his sons pro career. I prepare for a game like this just regular. But the moment when we came out and he was picking up full court and i went up, my guy was taking the ball and we were stood next to each other, it was like, the matrix or something. It didnt feel real. But its great to have those moments out there. Amidst all the success enjoyed by Jack Draper this year theres another british player whose story might have gone a little more under the radar. But jacob fearnley s 2024 has been pretty astonishing. Little over a year ago he was unranked. Now he is 98th in the world after winning four Atp Challenger titles this year. It is the fourth quickest rise into the mens top 100 since 2000 and hes back mixing it with draper, who he knows from their time together in the junior ranks. I remember a lot. I think we started travelling when i was maybe about 11, we went to winter cups, kind of European Events together. And, yeah, very fond memories. And hes a great guy. I think like he said in the post, we went on our separate paths. He kind of went like this very quickly, and i kind of chose the college route. But, yeah, to see what hes been doing on the tour is very motivational for someone like me. I look up to him a lot. Something that people around me and my coaches at the time, my parents were saying, is that everyone has their own paths. I was maybe a little bit physically underdeveloped, mentally just not ready. And thats why i chose to go to college. I think that was the best move for me and i was very patient. I was just not comparing myself to anyone. I mean, jack was simplyjust a lot better than me. Thats totally fine. Looking back to wimbledon and particularly the djokovic match, what did you learn from that match and that experience and how do you think thats helped you since . I mean, i think firstly kind of tennis aside, i think playing on Centre Court is a really great and very valuable experience, just because playing in front of a lot of crowds and a lot of fans is something i havent been exposed to a lot. Its kind of in the coming months, the tournaments in france, the crowds were massive, and to have that experience coming right out of college, i think that helped me a lot. In terms of the tennis, i think i learnt a lot from his game style, the way he kind of finds solutions on the court, the way he serves, the way he returns, the way he moves. Maybe at the time i didnt really notice too much of it, but looking after the match, i learnt a lot and i saw a lot of things that i could utilise in my own game. Im aware that this maybe isnt the norm, so im definitely kind of trying to stay as much as i can in the moment and not let too many thoughts and too much of whats going on outside the Tennis Court get to me, but obviously very difficult to do. Its also finding time to kind of enjoy what ive been able to do and be aware that its an amazing achievement and its something that, like i said earlier, im definitely not going to take for granted, and, yeah, enjoy it while it lasts. And hopefully on to bigger and better things. And a 28 Car Crash halted the latest Nascar Event at the famous Talladega Speedway in alabama, with even the Winners Car showing the effects at The End of the race. Eight of nascar s 12 Title Contenders were caught in the late pile up, which involved more than half the field and was the biggest ever seen in the series at talladega. Nobody was hurt, and after a lengthy red Flag Period Ricky stenhousejunior came through a Photo Finish in his chevrolet to collect his first win in 66 races. Theres more sport on the Website And App so head there for reaction to the days cricket. Theres also details of how you can follow englands latest match at the womens t20 World Cup against South Africa from 3pm. But now its time to hand you back to the news at one Team And Ben brown. Welcome back. The olympian Rebecca Adlington has been sharing her experience of losing a baby after suffering a late miscarriage last year. She discovered there was no heartbeat at a 20 Week Scan and then gave birth to her baby girl, who she named harper. Alison freeman reports. It was hard, because i think for us, id announced my pregnancy on Social Media and it was one of those that i had a full on bump and it would have been i think quite odd if i had just all of a sudden not addressed what had happened. Rebecca was 20 weeks pregnant when a scan revealed her baby did not have a heartbeat. She gave birth to her daughter, whom she named harper. The olympic Gold Medallist revealed her loss on Social Media. It was her second miscarriage. I wanted to be really honest, because it was something that my kids were fully aware of what happened, my friends and family were. And i kind ofjust thought, i dont want to hide away from this. I was overwhelmed by the support i had and the amount of messages of people being i have been in a similar situation. Rebecca turned to the Charity Petals for support. She and her husband were given counselling to help them deal with the trauma of the loss. There is such a stigma attached to baby loss. The average woman who is going through an experience like this, her instinct is to withdraw, is to kind of isolate herself, because youre on this exciting journey of pregnancy, usually something youve looked forward to for a long time and then to sundayly and then to and find thats ended, they feel like they have just got to they dont belong, theyre not part of this sort of world of parenthood and has potentially long term impact on mental health. Petals says demand for its services are higher than ever and rebecca has no doubt about the Benefits Counselling has had for her and her family. It is something that you dont really hear a lot about, because it is a very private subject and i think it helped so many people by being so honest and open. The support from petals, without the counselling, it was just so beneficial. We had it with me and husband together and that was just made a world of difference. I can now have a conversation without being in floods of tears and Harpers Part of our family, we talk to the kids about her. We have been able to have her part of the family and i think without Karen Guiding us through that it would have been something we never spoke about it we dealt with internally. Yet we are able to find a place for her in our family. Next month the first ever womens Amputee World Cup will be held in colombia, and englands Amputee Lionesses are hoping to take part, but first they need to raise £50,000 pounds to get there. Our Sports Correspondentjohn Watson has been to meet them. Theres nothing i could have done about it. Its not. Im not what happened to me and what i choose to become. Were all amputees, you know, all trying to, like, achieve the same goal of becoming amazing footballers. If you fight for something you absolutely love, then youre going to achieve everything that youre going to get. Were not disabled because we are more than able. Ijust had a sore knee. I played so much Sport And Ijust assumed, you know, it was an injury. One day i came out of school and we had an X Ray and thats when you could tell on the nurses faces, you know theyjust said its not normal. I had an mri, and thats when i found out i had osteosarcoma, which is an extremely rare bone cancer. A year and a half of chemotherapy, amputation, lung two Lung Surgeries and i nearly died from sepsis in the middle of it. So. Just horror. Horror two years. Im actually from syria, so i came to here in 2017. I lost my leg because of the war. When the war started, actually, just move from Living Room, back to the kitchen and back again, from Living Room to the balcony and the bomb hit me, like, straight away without any warning, without any noise, without any, like, any sounds i had itjust suddenly, like, just a second, like just a click. Yeah, so at 18, i had been offered a full scholarship over in america to play football. And then just before i was due to go, my Cancer Diagnosis came. And it kind of, you know, the next Day Wasnt promised and it was a dream that i thought i had to give up on. So i was born with a limb difference. | its where my femur didnt grow, and my leg grew from my knee. I and at six years old, i had my foot amputated. You know, were talking about the 805, so there wasnt much awareness around disability as there is today. And how they met is extraordinary. Right, time for a very special performance from someone i whos already become a eurovision fan favourite. Oh, i am a mountain. Sam ryder, he had written a song called im a mountain. The song is about how people like me have overcome such adversity and are doing amazing things now, and he wanted people with prosthetics and with limb differences to be on stage with him and help him perform the song. And so he brought us all alongside him, and we were up there on stage, on the global stage at eurovision, like, having the most amazing time. We were having breakfast before we went on stage. I said to them, have you ever thought about playing football . And theyre like, no. And youre like. Why are you not coming football . I said, like, my aim is, like my aim sport is running. So let me focus in that. No, no, no, no, no you no, no, no she just like. Right, youre coming down, youre going to join this team. I looked at her and i. Said, are you crazy . I said, i havent even watched a football match. She laughs. And then i, like, thought about it a bit more, and she convinced me to come. To the trials in november, and. Ijust couldnt believe it, you know, just fallen in love with the game. And they actually, they fell in love with it like i did. And it was a beautiful thing to watch. So they really love it now. Next month, dima, shelbee, Rebecca And Annabel and the rest of the team are hoping to lift the womens Amputee World Cup in colombia, but as a charity are having to fund the trip themselves. Weve got a good chance of winning the World Cup and bringing home the trophy, so im really confident. Im just so excited. We need to get there. And you still need a bit more money. Were trying to raise £50,000. We need as much support as we can. Being able to come out with that you know, that crest on our chest, and being able to, you know, stand with our chest held high, you know just representing this nation that, you know, has given us so much. And we just want to give the best that we can back. Footballs been my world. It was always my safe place, my safe space. And ijust get to be me and show what i can do on a pitch. And, you know, i would never have thought i was going to a World Cup, and to be going over to Colombia Isjust going to be, you know, life changing. Can you picture yourself lifting that World Cup . Yes, hopefully we will. We are going to bring it home. And that report was from our Sports Correspondentjohn Watson. Now the weather with louise lear. A real autumnal flavour this week. Plenty of showers. A mild start. You have been out already you will have noticed that. By The End of the week the Wind Direction turns to a northerly. It is all about low pressure at the moment. Sitting out in the atlantic. It is throwing these fronts in from the South West. So we have one clearing from the far North And East as we speak. A real cluster of showers driving their way, with more showers expected into the South West by The End of the afternoon. If you manage to escape the showers and continue with the sunshine it will feel warm with temperatures above where they should be for this time of year, highs of 19 degrees. Through the evening we are to see a line of showers developing, maybe even some hail. It will move out of South West and wales into the north of england. Behind it we keep a lot of cloud and showers. Temperatures staying in double figures through the night. Cooler in the far north of scotland. Into tomorrow, that line of showers continues to push through Northern England to the scottish borders. That is the Dividing Line between the north easterly wind and a drier story in scotland and further south and west more showers. Sunny spells, scattered showers, but the milder story continues. But you have heard the phrase hurricane kirk, well, yes it is out in the atlantic. Expected to weaken as It Drifts across cooler waters. It wont be a hurricane by the time it gets to europe. It is expected to make Land Fall in spain and france and here we will see wet and france and here we will see wet and windy weather, just brushing the South East of The Uk perhaps. But kirk will allow the Wind Direction to change as It Drifts east and that is going to bring that colder air across us. So as we move into wednesday, we might see some heavier rain across the channel islands, but plenty of sharp showers being driven in with that brisk northerly wind. Nine to 12 degrees will feel colder. The cold air not really arriving on wednesday on central and Southern England until the low pulls away. Then it will pivot to a northerly and push the Cooler Air across us. Then back to temperatures below where they should be. But hvp will build and hopefully quieten things down from friday. Thank you.
