Bethlehem man killed in single-vehicle crash

A 51-year-old Bethlehem man was pronounced dead early Sunday following a single-vehicle crash, authorities said.
The victim was identified as Brian Baumbach. Baumbach was driving just before 3:30 a.m. in the area of 5114 Route 100 in Lowhill Township when the car left the roadway and struck a tree, the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office said.
Baumbach was pronounced dead at 4:14 a.m. by Lehigh County Deputy Coroner Craig Hanzl. The cause of death was from multiple blunt force trauma and the manner was ruled accidental, according to the coroner’s office.
The death is being investigated by Pennsylvania State Police in Fogelsville and the Lehigh County Coroner’s Office.
