Bizana Pondo Chiefs head coach Clinton Larsen has confirmed and explained the signing of AmaZulu prospect Shaquille Abrahams.
Abrahams has been training with Usuthu for some time but has been allowed by their coach Benni McCarthy to go and get game time at the struggling GladAfrica Championship side.
The former Cape Town City youngster was expected to be offered a contract at AmaZulu but nothing materialised, and McCarthy organised him a move to Chiefs.
The 23-year-old was part of McCarthy's Citizens team that won the MTN8 a few years ago.
