Brush clearing in winter months now underway to prevent fire dangers on the Central Coast later on

Winter fire prevention projects could prevent summer disasters on the Central Coast. The Loma Fire in May nearly reached some areas over the hill not always considered prime fire zones. Vegetation clearing is underway.
