This week the Raspberry Pi Foundation has revealed more details about the process of creating their new Raspberry Pi Pico microcontroller which is now available to purchase priced at just $4. The Raspberry Pi Pico was launched on January 21, 2021 and has already made a huge impact, with the Foundation taking orders for nearly 1 million units, with production ready to ramp up for both the Pico board itself and the chip that powers it, the Raspberry Pi RP2040.
