Call to give top priority to information security in Belarus

MINSK, 2 March (BelTA) – Taking into account the situation in the world, information security is becoming a key area of concern, member of the Standing Commission on National Security of the House of Representatives Yevgeny Zaitsev told reporters. The MP took part in a videoconference of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Standing Committee on Defense and Security on 2 March, BelTA has learned.
The participants of the meeting discussed CSTO model laws ‘On Information Security', ‘On Information and Analytical Support of Law Enforcement Activities', ‘On Countering Terror Attacks at Fuel and Energy Facilities', as well as ‘On Peacekeeping Operations and Peacekeeping Forces'.
