City leaders are extending a snow emergency in Troy, because the city says people simply are not listening to the rules.
By 8 a.m. on Tuesday, cars on snow emergency streets had to be off the road or on the even side of the street for 24 hours.
Starting at 8 a.m. Wednesday, cars will have to be moved to the odd side of the street. At 8 a.m. Thursday, cars will need to be back on the even side of the street through 8 a.m. Friday morning.
For people who are having trouble parking, free overnight and 24-hour parking will be available at the following locations.
