HOW THEY’RE MAKING IT HAPPEN. >> AS YOU CAN SEE FROM THE STATED CLOTH, WE HAVE NOT BEEN HERE FOR A WHILE. >> THEY WILL SEE PILES RIGHT THERE. IT WILL SEE WBE DEVOID -- WDB DUBOIS LEARNING CENTER. BIANCA: MORE THAN 300 COLORFUL PAINTINGS WILL BE INSTALLED. CREATED AS PART OF CITY YEAR’S ANNUAL MARTIN LUTHER KING JUNIOR DAY OF SERVICE. >> IT WAS IMPORTANT THAT WHEN OUR CHILDREN CAME IN, THEY WOULD POINT TO ART ON THE WALL AND SAY I KNOW WHO THAT IS, THAT THEY COULD RESONATE WITH THE FIGURES THAT ARE ON THE WALL, BUT ALSO THE WORDS THAT WOULD BE ON THE WALL. BIANCA: INSTEAD OF PAINTING MURALS IN PERSON, VOLUNTEERS RECEIVED CANVASES TO PAINT AT HOME. THE PROGRAM KICKED OFF VIRTUALLY, CHALLENGING VOLUNTEERS TO THINK ABOUT THEIR ROLE IN ACHIEVING RACIAL EQUITY. >> THE WAY THAT I LOOK AT MLK DAY, IS AN ACCESS POINT. I SIGNED UP TODAY AND I PAINTED A CANVAS, BUT NOW IT’S LIKE WHAT DO YOU DO AFTER THAT? YES THAT IS GOING TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE, BUT HOPEFULLY THROUGH THAT EXPERIENCE, YOU LEARN A LOT MORE. YOU WANT TO
