CMO Dr Tony Holohan awarded with honorary fellowship by RCSI for his ‘outstanding’ leadership during Covid-19 pandemic

CHIEF Medical Officer Dr Tony Holohan has today been awarded an honorary fellowship by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
The fellowship has been awarded to the health chief in recognition of his "outstanding" leadership during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The RCSI Professor said the pandemic will serve as the CMO's legacy
Dr Holohan has become a familiar figure across homes in Ireland due to his front facing role at NPHET briefings during the pandemic.
RCSI President Professor Ronan O'Connell said that the pandemic will serve as the Chief Medical Officer's legacy.
