security reporter natasha bertrand is tracking this story for us at the pentagon. good morning to you, natasha. the army is set to hold a news conference this morning. that's right, don, and hopefully we'll get a little bit more information. but what we know now is that a pair of black hawk helicopters did crash on wednesday night near southwestern kentucky. they were with 101st airborne division, and it resulted in several casualties. now we do not know whether there were any fatalities at this point, but we are told that the helicopters were flying a routine training mission. that's according to a statement on the four campbell facebook page, and actually, the governor of kentucky has weighed in on this. and he said, quote. we've got some tough news out of fort campbell with early reports of a helicopter crash and fatalities are expected again. we do not know how many people were injured or killed. all we know at this point is that there were several casualties in. he of course, said that we will share more information as available. please pray for all those affected now.
