Today on inside politics, in minutes, something we have never seen before. From any sitting u. S. President , joe biden stands shoulder to shoulder with picketers on The Front Line of a strike against detroits big three. His team hope ss to show a signf solidarity with unions and hopes it will pay dividends for workers and also for his own road map back to the white house. Plus the dam breaks. At least a dozen senators say bob menendez should quit, including his fellow senator from new jersey cory booker and lawmakers from swing states who face tough battles to keep their own jobs. And the line up is locked in. Tomorrow, seven republicans clash on a california debate stage. Im dana bash. Lets go head the behind the headlines and inside politics. Up first, history in detroit. This Hour Air Force one will land in michigan, where the president will head to the picketline. Auto workers are in the middle of a big fight over pay and whether they get a bigger piece of record corporate profits. Joe biden is fight iing a a war against a familiar faux, donald trump. Detroit is the stage for a 2024 contrast between the two men. And their two very different visions for america. Arlette saenz is in michigan. Arkalette, what do we know righ now . Is the president on his way to where you are . And what do we expect him to do on the picket line . Reporter President Biden is expected to land here in michigan in the next hour, as hes looking to offer the show of support for those Striking Union workers. The white house yaz haz yet to detail where President Biden will visit, but hes expected to visit a picket line here where he will also appear with the uaw president. He extended this invitation to President Biden to come to a picket line just last week. The president decided to accept that. But it comes at an important moment as the uaw refrained in Endpors Dorsing in the president ial election. Many labor groups have backed biden, buts this is one of the endorsements hes still trying to secure. And it comes as the white house has walked a very careful line when it comes to these negotiations between the uaw and the big three auto makers. The white house doesnt have any Legal Authority to be involved in these negotiations, so they have been careful with what they have been able to say. President biden has been out there saying that he supports these auto workers and he believes that the record profits that Auto Companies are earning at this moment should be shared with those workers. But the white house has stopped short of weighing in on the specific demands that the uaw has been making. All of this is playing out as part of the president s core mission here is appealing to those Working Class voters. It comes as theres about to be a remarkable split screen in the 204 race playing out here in michigan over the next two days. Biden is here today. Former President Trump will be here tomorrow to talk to Union Workers himself. Gathering a group together. The white house said this trip is not about trump. They didnt plan this because trump coming here and instead they are focused on showing support for their workers. But it signals of the fights that could be brewing. Keep us posted. Let us know when you see the president there for this historic event. And when he lands, the president will arrive to pleas from workers to make them whole. I came to work through my chemo to support my kids because thats what a hard worker does. And i give that to them. I expect in return for Somebody Just to say, you know what, all those years, all these profits we have made, maybe we can give you a little bit more. Here with me is kohlman hughes, march hooverer, Shane G Maccer and michelle price. Nice to see you. Lets continue to set the table for this discussion by listening to what President Biden said. I think the uaw gave up an incredible amount back when the industry was going under. And they saved the automobile industry. And i think that now that the industry is growing back, they should participate in the pension event. Now lets look at what the former president said on his Social Media Platform yesterday. Remember, he wants to take your jobs away and give them to china and other foreign countries. Shout out to your Union Leadership to endorse donald trump. I will keep your jobs and make you rich. Theres a reason donald trump is going straight to michigan and not even bothering to go to california to compete for the republican contest he is making a robust argument. To the people that helped get him to the white house in the first place that even if the jobs market is coming back and even if rather the auto market and jobs are come ing back, it still bigger in china. If hes turning it around. And if you want a republican who is going to fight for workers, which is what the Republican Party has come to represent amongst the base of the party that supports trump, thats a win ning message for him becaus the facts are on his side. And this is the center of the issue. It maybe good politics to tell people were going to bring manufacturing back to america, but when you ask what happens when you institute tariffs, they are fairly unanimous in saying, industries that have gone to mexico or china, you cant just bring them back by instituting a tariff. What that does is it increases prices for consumers at home without actually bringing the industries back. So what you end up with is that a loselose in reality, although it maybe a nice message. That is definitely true when youre talking about in the shortterm about trade, but when it comes to this is inside politics, when it comes to the workers who are striking and the work voter who is are striking, not just in michigan but elsewhere, lets stick with lets talk broadly about the question. This was asked in an nbc news poll that came out over the weekend, which party would do a better job for the economy. Middle class and look at that. The republicans are about even with democrat when is it comes to the middle clasp. Thats a pie chart thats a big red flag for democrats getting into the next election. When you look at the two visits, it speaks to both how President Biden and former President Trump want to be port Trump Administration themselves to biden. Being a pro Union Democrat is a nonnegotiable. Its part of the image. The fact that he was from scranton, his ties back to pennsylvania, so on the specifics of whether the workers should get the raise they are asking for, he hasnt nece necessarily gone all in, but wants to be there. For trump, its the same thing. This is the play that sent him to the whoes. It was voterss in michigan and wisconsin and pennsylvania and hes saying im the guy that can win them back. And hes going to skip that debate in california im going to talk about joe biden because thats who aisle running against. The story here, it would not be a story if donald trump were not a figure right now in the Republican Party. A very looming figure and potentially joe bidens republican rival, you mentioned how things shook out in michigan and wisconsin. Certainly he did well, but he didnt win in michigan and in wisconsin. But lets look at what happened with joe biden. He got 62 of uniton households, in wisconsin, 59 . That was up from what had Hillary Clinton got. And joe biden won michigan and wisconsin. Hillary clinton did not. That tells the political story of what were seeing. Were talking nationally how perceived on the economy, but in these states, unionheavy states, its a different message. Were going to see President Biden, hes a pro union message, a pro worker message, President Trump is not prounion, but hes pro work er. Hes made some statements encouraging the Union Workers showing solidarity and suggesting they shouldnt pay union dues. So hes trying to thread the needle. There was a huge discrepancy between the Union Leadership back in 2016 and how they voted, which we hadnt seen before much with democrats. Let me just zero in on wayne county, which is where the president is going. He will be there very soon. Again, joe biden got 68. 4 there. He really cleaned Donald Trumps clock in wayne county. For joe biden to win again, he needs those numbers and the enthusiasm to stay high like that because this is part of the blue wall and the blue wall keeps democrats in the white house and when it krulables like in 2016, republicans win. Lets also be realistic about whats happened in michigan since 2020. It was a blue wall and returned to being a blue wall. Democrats swept the state at every level. The governorship, all the legislature, both houses. It was despite the economy, not because of it. But because of abortion. And so the economy and autos are part of the argument, but theres a larger argument in favor of joe biden, which isnt going to help republicans if you rinse and repeat in 2024. You talked about wayne county. Mahmoud mcholmes county back in 2016, we have seen a lot of these placess in michigan had basically byebye signals of where the Namarginal Voter is going. So i think the sticks are high for both trump and biden here. Ill go back further. Standby wp we have breaking news. More calls for embattled senator bob menendez to resign, including from cory booker. Well talk about that, coming up. Support for bob menendez among his colleagues in the senate is crumbling. At least a dozen senators are calling on him to resign. One of them is his fellow new jersey senator bcory booker. Hes face Ing Corruption Charge including allegations he used his influence to help the government of egypt in exchange for cash and gold bars. My panel is back with me. Let me just read this cory booker statement. He said, quote, Senator Menendez fiercely asserts his innocence, and its understandable that he believes stepping down is fair, but i believe this is a mistake. We were talking about how significant this is for his fellow senator. To do this. This has come really quick. You saw a handful of senators in vulnerable seats up in 2024 say ing he should step down. In montana, ohio, nevada, wisconsin and pennsylvania, and that matters politically for the party, but for menendezs seat mate and the person who stood by him when he was indicted before to say its time to go, they cant force him out, but this is about as much political pressure as hes going to face from those people calling for him to step down. It gets to the point when sometimes when these things happen when the dominos start to fall very quickly. And youre seeing that this morning. Its happening as we speak. Let me just put up on the screen. John fetterman was a couple days ago. Now its jackie rosen, cory booker, Michael Beb Net and the key that you just said, which is very telling politically, all of these senators on the ballot this coming year. Sherrod brown, john tester, elizabeth warren, these are all democrats. This is for these candidates, these senators running for reelection, they want to draw contrast with republicans, they want to draw contrast with donald trump. This is a distraction. This isnt something they want to be talk about talking or defending. Today we reached this moment where it was getting conspicuous. So some of the swing states like nevada, they are contrast with republicans with trump at the top of the ticket, it helps the democratic candidate to show that they are not a party that tolerates the appearance of any corruption. And thats such a good point. One of the other questions about strategy here, having all of these the democrats come out now is what they really want to do. And i interviewed dick durbin, the number two democrat on sunday, and he stopped short of saying that bob menendez should resign. When i asked if he should run for reelection, he said something along the lines of, were going to see what happens with that. My sense is its just in talking to some democrats from new jersey is that part of what were seeing here, these dom knows is trying to at the very least get Senator Menendez to say im not running for reelection, to try to take some political pressure off. This is really at a political debate about retaking the senate when youre talking about dick durbin. It youre a democrat hold ing te senate, expanding your power, and for republicans, 2024 is their best shot at taking back the senate if you look at the map. All of the republicans up are in very safe they have opportunities for pickups and to take the majority become in the senate. So they would like nothing more than to have a Pickup Opportunity in new jersey. By the way, new jersey recently has demonstrated that republicans have gotten pretty close at taking majorities in that state. So if i were a democratic senator, i would much prefer to have chris murphy, the governor, appoint somebody for the remainder of menendezs turn that has a running start, at least say hes not going to run so they can be sure they know who their candidate is who thereby a strong opponent. This is about the 2024 senate map. Thats why you see democrats piling on, because theyment the contrast and the power. If Senator Menendez says im not going to run for reelection, then it starts the campaign. The democrats to run against each other in a primary and maybe tries to balance the p Playing Field a little more. Now you have coleman, republicans, including some who worked closely with Senator Menendez, sort of coming to his defense. Sort. Of. This is cotton, who twooeted, the charges are serious and troubling. At the same time, the Department Of Justice has a troubling record of failure and corruption in these cases against public figures from ted stevens to donald trump to bob menendez the last time around. Hes not coming to the defense of his colleague when it comes to the substance of the allegations, instead using it as a way to get in on the sort of hammer that the republicans are hit hitting on every front against the justice department. I think we can see republicans draw a parallel between bob menendez corruption and the corruption they are alleging of the biden family. They actually seized the gold bars and the cash stuffed into clothes. This is exactly what republicans hope to find sometime down the line at bidens house. And because they are part of the same party, republicans are going to try to draw a parallel here. Theres no direct evidence in the case of biden, but youre going to see a story told where this is what democrats do. Look at biden. Look at menendez. I was just going to add on what is menendezs future here. Were talking about the political questions, but there are real legal questions. If youre a sitting senator, being a suting senator is one of your Leverage Points with the justice department. Theres conversations about not running again. Theres conversations about stepping down. Theres conversations about resigning. Those are often parts of a negotiation post indictment, and you have seen members of congress, who hold out for sol kind of plea deal. As part, they step out of office. So despite the political pressure thats building today, menendez has a separate legal argument hes dealing with in addition to the political one. Thats such an important one. They are very connected. No Question Conversations are happening. Even if they are not happening officially, they are being discussed behind t sahe scenes. Standby. The stage is set for the second republican primary debate. Donald trump wont be there, but well tell you who did make the cut, next. The power goes out and we still have wifi to do our homework. And thats a good thing . Great in my book who are you . No power . No problem. Introducing stormready wifi. Now you can stay reliably connected through Power Outages with unlimited cellular data and up to 4 hours of battery backup to keep you online. Only from xfinity. Home of the xfinity 10g network. Youre looking at live p pictures of President Biden, who is now on the ground in michigan. You see hes talking there to deb bidingell, who represents the district where he is, where the strike is happening. And the state where hes going to visit. And next to her, is john fain, who is the head of the uaw. And they are greeting the president. Unclear if they will all be going with him to the picket line, but what youre looking at is the beginning of an historic visit, the first time a u. S. President comes to a picket line, an active picket line. Its kind of surprising in the history of this country given how many strikes there have been and the kinds of president s we have seen that it hasnt happened before, but apparently it has not. So were waiting for the president to finish his meet and greet on the tarmac. And then he will get in the motorcade and join workers on the picket line. So were going to monitor that. We will let had you know when that event does happen. In the meantime, california will host seven republican candidates and it will be the latest, the second debate clash, were going to see on the the stage. The missing person is donald trump. Again, he will counterprogram, he will be where joe biden is right now. He will be in the state of michigan. He is going to go there to make an argument about trying to get workers in his corner, again, if he does win the republican nomination and does go on to run against Joe Biden In November of 2024. Lets talk about all this with our reporters who are here. Talk about the debate stage and what were going to see. Im going out there. It was certainly for the first debate i was in wisconsin, it will be in imi valley. Its tfascinating to watch thes candidates debate one another, but knowing that its a bit of an alternate universe. It felt like an a world where donald trump didnt exist. Its unclear if thats going to be the tactic. We saw ron desantis is going to be dead center, because this is a Pressure Cooker moment for him he didnt have a standout performance in the first debate. That i want wanted him to hold the line. Hes seemed to do, that but it was a breakout moment for is Vivek Ramaswamy and nikki haley. They are going to try to steal the spotlight again. What are you going to be looking for . One of the ub nseen things i the audience itself. There was a big audience in milwaukee. They were cheering for trump and when christie went against him, they were booing chris christie. This debate is not expected to be a big audience. So the potential to make a contrast and not get booed is a significant thing. Whether any candidates will take advantage is an open question. Especially sips theres one candidate openly aggressively going after trump on the stage. Thats chris christie, because asa hutchinson, the former governor of arkansas, didnt make the stage. I would point out that the very first debater to take a swipe at trump last time was nikki haley. And she did it not based on the constitutional argument against him, the defense of democracy, she did it based on deficits and debts and republicans bad record on the economy and the massive debt deficits. She had a great debate. She grcated a contrast between herself and vermont donald trump and the other candidates. But this is ron desantis debate to either solidify himself as the runner up to trump or not. And he held even last time, but he didnt have a breakout debate. And he barely towed the line in terms of remaining where he was in the polling. So thats what im looking for. Does nikki haley capitalize on the momentum she gained for herself last time, which has been deeply noticed in it the republican donor community. If she can do that again, shes got real momentum. But we wouldnt be reporting this if we werent pointing out the fact that all of this is like an earth 2. 0. F its a parallel universe, which is that trump and biden are already running against each other and were seeing that play out in michigan. So this is a side show, which is almost a Republican Party that has its head in the sand and just isnt realizing that the party and the momentum that they have set up is one that favorsi. I think they realize it. Then why are they pretending . They are hoping for a different outcome. Hope is not a strategy. Im curious to see in this debate how are nikki haley and Vivek Ramaswamy going to perform now that they sort of have a target on their backs because of how well they did in the first debate. They really made huge gains. Now you can expect certainly ron desantis to come after nikki haley because it seems like she has been drawing right from what used to be his support. And Vivek Ramaswamy, there are many lines on which he can be attacked a as a candidate, but because hes swelled in the polls, hes going to be more of a target. So how will these two withstand the additional amount of heat they are likely to draw at the second debate. The question about ron desantis being dead center, he is sort of previewing the kind of message hes going to potentially going to make on the debate stage. You never know. Listen to what he said to glen beck about the issue of abortion. Protecting ub born babies with detectable heartbeats is not terrible its noble. Its just. And it should be something that anyone says that they are pro life would embrace. The left is going to take his comments and Weaponize Thosen comments and use those against every single pro life measure from here to teschty. So hes given the people that are fighting life and that are trying to promote more abortion, hes given them a gift that cannot be quantified. Thats Shadow Becomesing because hes talking about donald trump, who wont with be there. The most important words was the left. If hes going to attack donald trump on abortion, he wants to do it to say the left is going to take advantage of what hes talking about and how he talks about things. Framing that trump is going to be attacked and vulnerable on a host of issues from democrats, thats his way in. Not saying he disagrees on very many issues, but the left is going to use trump and beat republicans because of it. Thats a very nuanced strategy. Unclear if thats going to sell to your point or if any of this is going to matter to Republican Voters right now. Anderson cooper and i will be hosting the republican president ial post debate analysis live on wednesday night at 11 00 eastern. Get the critical context and analysis you need right here on cnn. Donald trump has always had a thing against windmills. Now he says they are killing the whales. Why is he talking about that . And why it really matters . Thats next. President biden is in michigan to join striking auto workers on the picket line. Hes on his way there. Well bring it to you as soon as he arrives. In the meantime, lets talk about politics. There are a the lot of bushes in politics. It appears Donald Trumpen cant keep them straight. Heres what he said in South Carolina about the 2016 campaign. When i came here, ever everyone thought bush was going to win. Then they took a poll and found trump was up 50 points. Whats going on here . They thought bush was a military person. Great. You know what . He got us into the middle east. How did that work out . But they thought jeb might win. Pz he used the word jeb. You mean hes ashame d of the last name . Our reporters and analysts are back with us. You worked for one of the bushes, just one. Hard to keep them all straight. Its not actually that hard to keep it all straight. This isnt just kind of a run of the mill thing. It goes oafter joe biden all th time. For things he says that maybe off. Should we apply the same yardstick. Like its human. What we should do is scrutinize all of them equally and tieng trice to make a sound determination. Theres marks on The Wall Of Times where donald trump is getting confused. We need to keep looking for data points and see if thats true, but he did Grasp At Straws and not think of the person he ran against in 2020 just a couple weeks ago. Tsaid it was obama. Never ran against obama. And then in this case, he forgot that he was running against jeb and confuses the brothers. He suggested he got us into the iraq war. There are three bushes on the national stage. A father, a son and a brother, but we all can keep track of that. Maybe its our jobs. Maybe regular americans arent paying attention cant, but its our job. And try to determine whats going on with the candidate for presidency. Can he not keep track or is he dismissive and thinks its not important. Lets turn to some of the things that the former president is doing, which is they are extremely intentional. Some of the comments he is making, including Something Else he said in South Carolina. This is a claim about what Windmill Farms are doing to whales. Theres only been, listen to this, one such whale killed off the coast of South Carolina in the last 50 years. But on the other hand, their windmills are causing whales to die in numbers nobody seen before. Nobody does anything about that. They are washing up. Three of them came up this weekend. You wouldnt see it once a year. Now they are coming up on a weekly basis. The windmills are driving them crazy. They are drying them batty. A little bit of context moment here. I dont think hes going to join the movement any time soon. This is about his business. And this is about the Windmill Farms that have been under his skin since 2015. He launched a legal battle to stop scottish officials from build whag he called ugly wind farms near his golf resort. Hes been antiwindmill for a long time. He talks about the birds they kill. I think its mean you threw this question to me. This also speaks to the ecosystem. This is actually a story that is circulating on a regular bay sis. The growth of Wind Turbines in the ocean are creating deaths of animals. This is something hes seeing on television and spitting back. Hes seeing it on television, but the reason i brought it up is, yes, its all kind of going back and forth inside his e ecosystem, but this is because of his business. This is because he sees the windmills as something that just bothered him and lost money, might be he didnt, but hurt the vista at one of his properties. It sounds silly. Hes not a marine biologist, so i dont know we can take his word on what is driving whales crazy, but in a way, this encapsulates some of the reaction to donald trump within his ecosystem for people who agree with him. They see this point of, wow, hes saying the people who want these Renewable Energy products, they are killing animals. It might resinate. For people not supportive of donald trump, they think its crazy. And those reactions, we see them spill out in a big way. Whether its his claims about the 2020 election. It might not directly affect him. About him, but it reenforces their idea on what its about. They think its donald trump making claims that are unfounded and dangerous. Thank you for the segue into the next thing im going to say, because we have seen unfounded and dangerous comments from the former president. And in the vain of lets not get use ed to this and call it out. Not only on his Social Media Platform did he talk about comcast with its onesided coverage by nbc news of particular msnbc referred to should be investigated for its country threatening treason. He also went really hard against sm somebody who served this country as the chairman of the joint chiefs is on his way out. Upset about some things mark milley had said so his response was this is an act so egregious the punishment would have been death. Again, words that a former president has, and anybody with a platform, anything close to what donald trump has, they have consequences. Its scary to hear this kind of thing. At the psalm time, i feel, and i dont know if you would agree after eight years of hhearing t publicly say that hes going to lock people up, i dont know what is bluster and what is actual intent. He changes his mind so often. He says things out of one side of his mouth and changes his mind to two seconds later. Hes desensitized the public to his crstatements. It would be the end of any other poli politicians career. Its bauz people dont really believe him. When the wfl comes, nobody is prepared because we stopped believing. We saw what happens. Because we saw january 6th. We saw that people dont just take his words and some people think one thing and some another. Theres a very motivated sector of the following of donald trump who actually does take his word seriously and did want to overturn the election and has acted violently. Frankly, might have hung mike pence if they got their hands on him. Youre right, we cant just let it go and wonderer what his extent was. We understand there are several people, enough people who follow donald trump who will take his words literally, not figtively. Thats dangerous for the country. Which is why we wanted to talk about these things. Standby. President biden will be joining auto workers in michigan on the picket line. Well bring it to you live, after a quick break. My sport p. Arlette, were waiting for President Biden to arrive on picket line. What are you hearing from your sources . Reporter well, dana, President Biden landed here in the detroit area about an hour ago. In the last half hour, and is making his way towards meeting with striking workers. Now, the white house has not detailed specifically where President Biden will be. Theyve cited Security Concerns about having him at an active picket line. What they have said, he will be here in wayne county, michigan. And hes expected to area with uaw president shawn fain. We saw President Biden arrive a short while ago where he was greeted by not just fain but debbie dingell. And he was asked by a reporter what he thinks it will take to earn the uaws endorsement the union has yet to endorse in the 2024 president ial race. President biden responded hes not worried about that at this moment. What the president and white house has said, hes focused on trying to show solidarity for the striking workers, marking the historic moments. Theres never been a sitting president to appear on an active picket line in the middle of intense negotiations. Now, the white house has walked an incredibly fine and delicate line as the negotiations have played out. They dont have any Legal Authority to be party directly to the negotiations. But the president has tried to lend his support since the strike started. What the white house has refrained from doing, though, is weighing in on any specific demands that the uaw is seeking at this time. Of course, this is all presenting a pretty phenomenal split screen in the 2024 race as President Biden is here today and former President Donald Trump is set to appear in the detroit area tomorrow. It comes as both men are trying to make their pitch to those Working Class voters. The white house has said they didnt plan this Trip Fwraumps was coming here. That the president is focused on talking to those workers. But they do try to make a contrast between the policies that President Biden has put into place and what former President Trump put in place when he was in office. So, were still waiting to see when exactly President Biden will arrive at this picket line. A historic moment, as he will be the first sitting president to be side by side, walking those picket lines, during an active strike against Auto Companies. And, arlette, you cant see it because you are out in it, but we do see video of the president s motorcade arriving. And were going to stay on that as he comes for this historic visit. A very critical visit, at a critical time. As arlette was laying out in such a thoughtful way. Arlette, stay with us. I want to talk to our reporters and analysts here about this. Shane, just when you look at sort of not only the politics of this, but the zeitgeist for lack of a better word where the public is, especially those frustrated economically. And they blame joe biden, in poll after poll, about the economy, about people not feeling about the economy, and despite the fact that the raw numbers are very good. This moment that we are seeing, joe biden, the guy who has since even before i covered him in the u. S. Senate, a long, long time, has tried to be somebody who is aligned with workers. It is such a critical time. And place for him to be doing that right now. And, i mean, i think you see, as you said in poll after poll, most americans see that theres good Economic Opportunity out there, but theyre not feeling it themselves. By going to the picket line and siding we the workers what joe biden is saying, look, there is profit in the american economy. All of the Economic Indicators are good. If youre not feeling it yet, you should be. The companies you should be blaming and not necessarily joe biden. Look, he wants to at his core be defined as a union Working Class democrat. This is a moment where he can say, look, question, the Auto Companies are making more money and they should be sharing it with their workers. Its the same message that he can sort of use to sort of attack, not in the same way that a Bernie Sanders would, but saying you should be sharing your profits with the working people. Fact that shawn fain is not worthy, they have not doed, saying they talked to donald trump saying please endorse me. But the president is here today saying im not here to talk about endorsements but he would be happy that the uaw supports him. Even though the union support, as relates to political support, boots on the ground, grassroots, activist maybe isnt what it was ten years ago, 20 years ago, but it Still Matters in particularly places like michigan and wisconsin that are unionrich. Its definitely a big statement in the president in his actions today showing hes on the picket line. Not just showing up speaking to people from what we understand. Hes going to be marching with them. A big sign of solidarity. He can do this as a president ial candidate but as a president showing up with your motorcade doing this. Its a huge statement to literally put yourself shoulder to shoulder with workers. What hes doing, hes out getting footage and ad material for his campaign. This is a photo shoot, really, for his reelection campaign. And it will play in michigan. He has created more jobs in michigan. He does stand with the workers. But this comes as an Inflexion Point between trump and biden. Trump is saying, had doesnt matter if you made more jobs, Electric Vehicles is putting us in a position where more vehicles are made in china. And well see what happens, as hes actually there, one of the big arguments from donald trump and all of his supporters is you dont get out, you dont talk to the people and so forth. So, this is a strategy that is newish. One could argue, he should have been doing for years. The bully pulpit is strong. It is. For biden, he really wants to go down agency the most prolabor president. Its more than just a strategy. Fair point. It happens to be what he truly, truly believes. Youre seeing pictures right now w
