SRINAGAR, Dec 19: Temperatures in Srinagar dipped once again and settled at minus 6.6 degrees Celsius and the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir recorded the coldest night of the season so far. Ladakh’s Drass touched minus 29 as the cold wave continued its firm grip across both the Union Territories.
Meanwhile, one-way traffic was resumed on the Srinagar-Jammu highway today after remaining suspended for maintenance on Friday, while the national highway, the only road connecting Ladakh region with Kashmir, and the Mughal road remained closed due to accumulation of snow and slippery road conditions.
