Sara Piccinini. Ph. Bruno Cattani – Foto Superstudio
Sara Piccinini has been appointed director of Collezione Maramotti, the private collection of Max Mara founder Achille Maramotti in Reggio Emilia, Italy. She took up the role starting 1 January 2020.
Piccinini has worked at the institution since its opening in 2007, serving in various roles including overseeing communications, exhibition projects, publications and residencies. In 2018, she was appointed senior coordinator, a role that entailed organising and planning all major programming at and beyond the collection, developing partnerships with museums and cultural institutions in Italy and abroad.
