Complete lockdown in Kerala today and tomorrow; mass Covid-19 testing to be conducted

Earlier, the Indian Medical Association had said that relaxations extended by the Kerala government in light of Eid-al-Adha were unwarranted in light of the medical emergency in the state.

Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala government has announced a complete lockdown in the state over the weekend on July 24-25 in view of rising COVID-19 cases. The Pinarayii Vijayan government has also asked the district officials to identify and mark containment zones within their jurisdiction and impose stricter restrictions in these zones.
