A compromise reached in 1968 between the Shahi-Eidgah mosque committee and the Hindu side in the Krishna Janmabhumi and Shahi Eidgah dispute case of Mathura is under scrutiny. The Hindu side claims that the compromise was not signed by all members of the trust or plaintiffs, while the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board asserts that it was validly executed. The case is currently being heard in court.
