Cornwall city council will be getting an update into the city’s strategic priorities during a special meeting Monday.
The overall plan — which was adopted back in 2019 — features a total of 23 priorities grouped under five pillars. These include the waterfront, workforce, housing, economic development, and climate and are to be tackled through a three year period — 2019-22.

Pursuing these priorities would, according to administration, enable the city to provide services that foster a financially and environmentally sustainable community which will care and provide for the needs and values of its residents.
