Dec 23, 2020 — The Crandall Public Library in Glens Falls will shift to curbside pickup in January as coronavirus cases increase. The library has seen high demand during the pandemic, including surging interest in its electronic resources.
The decision to deliver reserved books outside was not state-mandated, but made out of an abundance of caution, explained director Kathy Naftaly.
"We could see that more and more people were asking for curbside services again, perhaps that their comfort level is there, and we decided that we should be proactive," she said.
Curbside pickup appointments will be scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, beginning Jan. 2.
