Neighbors and community members are reacting after a New Hanover County assistant principal was found dead Friday morning.
The body of David Bostian was found at a home located at 3304 Tipton Court when officers from the Wilmington Police Department responded to a 911 call around 9:05 a.m.
Fire trucks responded to the scene first followed by the police, according to a neighbor who watched the response. The neighbor - who did not want to be identified - said they didn't know the cause of death or have any further information.
The death comes after allegations that Bostian had an inappropriate relationship with a student in 1992.
