CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (KFVS) - A Heartland school district is forging the way for distance learning with new buses that make it easier for rural students to learn away from the classroom.
The Delta R-5 School District now has Wi-Fi-equipped school buses, allowing students to complete their work from a distance.
“Here at Delta R-5, we’re leading the way. We’d like to push this out into our community, so our kids don’t go without. So, we’re really excited to be the first ones doing this,” said Superintendent David Heeb.
