Dentists have been left horrified by emerging TikTok trends which see users trying out unsanitary and incredibly damaging DIY oral care ‘hacks’.
Over the past number of months, a number of particularly harmful trends have been circulating on the video creation and social media app.
Dentists Dr Lisa and Dr Vanessa Creaven are issuing a warning to TikTok users to avoid trying out trends like flossing with human hair and filing teeth with a nail file at home.
