welcome back to "first look" on this tuesday. we're not going to see destructive weather. no big storms today, actually for the rest of the week. but there are some umbrellas in augusta and columbia, also towards macon, showers and storms headed your way. if you're near rochester towards syracuse, carry the umbrella early this morning. there is a batch of heavier rain, a sneaky ocean storm that's coming up here, so if you're on long island, definitely rhode island, boston out towards the cape you could get a brief downpour as we go throughout the early morning hours then it will clear out this afternoon. the other story, some cooler air in the next two days, great lakes into the northeast. kind of seasonable. but then this upcoming weekend, a shot of cold air drops down through the great lakes, friday night football games from the great lakes are going to be very cold and even into saturday look at highs into the 40s. coldest air of the season and likely the end of the growing season in new england. pretty quiet weather. just waiting for the, sooner or
