The chief executive of German banking giant Deutsche Bank, Christian Sewing, has been elected to another three-year term as president of the influential Association of German Banks (BdB). The BdB board unanimously elected Sewing for a second term on Thursday, the Berlin-based banking industry lobby group announced. Sewing has held the role of chief lobbyist for private banks in Germany since July 1, 2021. He took over the post from Berenberg Bank executive Hans-Walter Peters. The BdB represents
