Developer looking to build 92-unit townhome duplexes in Mills River
A 92-unit townhome development has been proposed for Banner Farm Road in Mills River.
Moore & Son Site Contractors, developer and owner of the project, plans to sell each unit for $325,000 to $375,000.
Rick Moore, with Moore & Son, told the town's Planning Board March 2 the company wants to build the townhomes to meet a need for workforce housing.
The units will vary in size from 1,200 square feet to 1,500 square feet. Some of the units will be a story and a half.
Buyers will own the land each unit is on, which will vary in size, with most on around an eighth of an acre.
