Dharavi redevelopment project: New flats to get 17% extra area; minimum now set at 350 sq ft

Prior to this, residents of informal settlements in the state were provided with houses measuring 269 square feet. This was later increased to between 315 and 322 square feet in 2018, as per the guidelines of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) for urban poor housing.
