Their backgrounds could not be more different: a mechanical engineer, surveyor, TAFE instructor, and professional fisherman to name a few.
But the 22 members of the Seaforth Men's Shed share camaraderie and an eagerness to learn from each others' expertise.
They can now craft just about anything from wood-turned tables and chairs to fancy walking sticks made out of pieces of driftwood scavenged from nearby Seaforth Beach.

And with a new dedicated metal work shed, their imaginations were the limit.
Secretary Neil Matthews said his favourite part of being a member was the companionship and men-only time.
