Doris Marie Schuety passed away Nov. 3, 2023. She was born March 26, 1948, to Charles Schuety and Barbara Lippert (Nelson). She married Arvid Beach and had four children, Tara Lee (Beach), Jeff Beach (Erin), Daryl Beach (Kriss) and Mark Beach (Sarah). Doris is survived by her children, siblings, Barb Schuety, Joan Swift, Bruce Schuety (Carrie), Gerry Schuety (Linda), Charlie Schuety (Cheryl), 10 grandkids, 17 great-grandkids, her partner in crime granddog Tikki that loved cuddling her Grammy, and a very special niece, Tina Beach. She was preceded into death by her parents, grandparents, grandson Braden, brother Marvin, nephew Jim, niece Chris and nephew Troy. Doris loved 80s rock music and knew just about every fact about the hair bands, including her favorite band Aerosmith. She had a passion for cooking and hand wrote over a million recipes (that may be a slight exaggeration -- or not). She loved flowers, picking berries, birds and of course watching deer with her mom. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Doris was a cancer warrior, fighting valiantly until she left us. A celebration of life will be held Nov. 18 at 12 p.m. at VFW, 309 S. 6th St., Brainerd. Please join us to celebrate her life and feel free to wear your favorite band shirt.
