DPS-MIS students win recognition at speech event

Doha: DPS-Modern Indian School students won accolades in Dr. A.P.J Abdul Kalam Memorial Inspirational Speech Competition-2020 organized by Qatar Tamizh Sangam (QTS)  in three categories, Sub- Junior Category (Classes III – V),  Junior Category (Classes VI-VIII), and Senior Category (Classes IX-XII)   for the students of Indian schools in Qatar.
A total of 13 students participated in the competition. After the preliminary round,  six students qualified for the finals. Varnikha Alagappan (III H)  and Sejavarthana Anbalagan (X D) bagged the second prize in Sub-Junior Category and Senior Category, respectively. In Junior Category, Aruna Maghathi Sankara Narayanan  (VI B) won the third prize, and Dharsini Nakulan ( VIII-A) was presented with the consolation prize.
