The new bridge, which is called Kaykulot Bridge, connects the Tagaytay-Calamba Road and Sta. Rosa-Ulat-Tagaytay Road in Cavite.
It is a 90-lineal meter bridge built under a P65.7-million budget.
According to Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar, the bridge is a key component of the Kaykulot Road that will provide an alternate route and easy access to tourism designated areas such as the Tagaytay Picnic Grove and Peoples Park in the Sky (formerly Palace in the Sky).
The bridge will benefit some 2,000 daily motorists, Villar added.
The entire Kaykulot Road Project has a total length of 2.367 kilometers.
