Alameda is about to launch a new program where the city will pay one local restaurant a week to prepare 90 hot, nutritious meals for people who are homeless or escaping domestic violence.
ALAMEDA, Calif. - Alameda is about to launch a new program where the city will pay one local restaurant a week to prepare 90 hot, nutritious meals for people who are homeless or escaping domestic violence.
It is called "Feed Alameda." It means extra money coming in for about 40 local restaurants including, Speisekammer, a German restaurant in town.
