KETCHIKAN (KDN) â The Ketchikan Emergency Operations Center on Tuesday recorded two new cases of COVID-19 in the community, and Ketchikan Charter School announced that it would reopen for in-person learning on Wednesday after being closed to students and staff on Tuesday due to a positive case involving an individual connected to the school.
One of the cases recorded by the EOC on Tuesday involved a symptomatic individual, and one involved someone who was asymptomatic, according to a late Tuesday afternoon press release from the EOC.
"One case was determined to be close contact to a known positive case, and one case remains under investigation," the EOC release read.
