In recent years, Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances, a class of so-called “forever chemicals” better known as PFAS, have become a hot button environmental issue, spurring extensive research, contentious litigation and numerous legislative and regulatory efforts aimed at monitoring or reducing PFAS use.
