Eta Compute, a developer of technology for energy efficient artificial intelligence processing, has raised $12.5M in a Series C funding. The company says it has now raised $31.9M in total. The funding was led by Synaptics Incorporated, as well as existing investors. As part of the funding, Satish Ganesan, the Chief Strategy Officer at Synaptics, will join Eta's board. Eta Compute is led by CEO Dr. Ted Tewksbury. The company's lead product is the TENSAI AI software platform, which it says is aimed at use in AI applications for the smart home and consumer Internet-of-Things markets.
