Europe Authorizes Oral Antiviral For Adults Against COVID-19

Brussels-based European Commission (EC) announced late on January 28, 2022, it had issued marketing authorization for Paxlovid, an oral antiviral targeting COVID-19. In Europe, the marketing-authorization holder for adults is Pfizer Europe MA EEIG.
