With the trend of relocating manufacturing hubs into Asia-Pacific, Vietnam is in a stellar spot to attract much of this high-tech smart manufacturing investment due to its advanced 4G and soon 5G digital infrastructure. Denis Brunetti, president of Ericsson in Vietnam, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos, talked to VIR’s Bich Thuy about the latest preparations by Ericsson to further support Vietnam in tapping into this growth potential.
Large scale 5G rollout is expected in Vietnam in 2021. Do you think that the existing 4G infrastructure is qualified enough to assist in wide implementation?
