KEY ACTION: Adopted the 2021-22 school district calendar.
DISCUSSION: The first day of school for students is Aug. 18. Thanksgiving break will be Nov. 24-26, Christmas break is Dec. 20-31, spring break is March 28-31 and last day for students is May 27.
OTHER ACTION:
Approved contracts for permanent substitutes Bobbie Jo Boehm and Tonya Parker for $100 per day. Superintendent Broc Bidlack said the teachers are being used daily and are only substituting at Fairless.
Approved a contract with Victoria Walker, Behavioral Harmony, for one student from Nov. 13 to Jan. 8.
Acknowledged minimum wage will increase to $8.80 per hour effective Jan. 1.
