Former city councillor Kim Krushell has thrown her hat in the ring to become Edmonton’s next mayor.
Krushell announced her mayoral bid outside City Hall Wednesday morning and said she is running on three main points: economic recovery, core services and support for Edmonton’s most vulnerable.

“I believe in a balanced approach, I believe in data-driven decision making and I believe that we can be bold and visionary, but that depends on us staying focused and getting the basics right,” she said.
