There are pro israeli demonstrations planned today in Central Park and times square. Protesters are scheduled to meet. He was a year younger than me. Great guy. Beautiful smile. A pure soul. He managed to somehow survive. He was one of the hostages. Not too long ago, there were 6 hostages in gaza in the tunnels. And they were shot to death by hamas terrorists because the hamas terrorists dont want to risk that they will be alive and they will be alive and the israelis will get them in the hostage deal. There is this hope that hostages will come back including here an American Citizen as well. They shot all six of them in the head. They almost found them. Its a tragic story. The best thing we can do is keep their memory alive by sharing these stories. I wont stop doing it. I have been doing it for the last year. What do you think . There was a huge flush of water coming through that knocked everything off its base. It had basically no time to react. It slid into the water. They floated in their house down until the River Kind of turned. That hit an embankment. That made the house collapse. Even after that, rod was able to pull himself out of the debris and go reach my mom who is about 10, 20 feet away. Get her out of the debris. They were floating on a wall of wood. They hit a large Maple Tree that was in the middle of the river. They each flew in different directions. Rod has been able to get himself out of the water. She has not been located since. You just never in A Million years imagine that in this mountainous region, you know, something like this is going to happen. Tell us about your mom. Shes a 7th Grade Teacher and a really beloved member of the community, i know. We have pictures to share with her. Tell us about her. My mom is a really beautiful person, a vibrant person. The Florida Division of Emergency Management is actively addressing storm related resource requests. Theyre currently in the process of fulfilling 850 missions. They deployed everything from sandbags to shelf stable meals to Tens Of Thousands of Water Bottles to thousands of tarps. We have sent truckloads of Food And Water to central florida for preparation for point of Usage Site subsequent to the storm hitting. Were coordinating the deployment of 2,000 Flood Detection systems and prioritizing infrastructure. We have generators deployed to support Special Needs sheltering. We have starlinks deployed in areas that have asked for that. Ambulances and paratransits are in central florida ready to support First Responder operations as appropriate. State of florida is amassing Fuel Reserves ahead of milton. Those quantities include 415,000 gallons of diesel. 389,000 gallons of gasoline. There is as i mentioned this morning, 1. 5 million gallons of Diesel And Gasoline that are En Route to the state. There is currently no Fuel Shortage in the state of florida. Fuel continues to arrive at florida ports. However, there are long lines at some Gas Stations, and because you have had a run on gas, there have been Gas Stations that have run out of fuel. They are being resupplied with the fuel. Were going to continue to ensure that we have fuel coming. Theyre still coming with the ports. We have some coming on the ground so people can go. You may be in a line. If your Gas Station runs out, theres going to be more fuel on the way. We have ramped up for County Removal Debris operations. Were working this mission to supplement their mission 24 7 around the clock and were going the to continue to do that all the way until it is no longer safe to do so. Please, local officials, these vendors, theres been vendors they dont necessarily do. When theres sunlight and people say theyre not doing, they have to work really hard. We have got to get as much taken care of as possible, we know with kevin and jared putting the State Assets to supplement. It made a difference. We continue to do that. Those Barrier Islands under evacuation orders, people should heed those. Once that deadline passes, were still going to have the Debris Removal operations ongoing all the way until we start to hit tropical Storm Force winds. Thats all the rest of today all through tomorrow. Most likely into the beginning of wednesday morning. I appreciate all the effort thats gone into that on the state. We have deployed just on the stateside to assist with the federal excuse me with the local debris mission, over 300 Dump Trucks to help with debris. In the last 36 hours, State Assets have been able to do 12,000 Cubic Yards of debris, removed from communities and brought to landfill. Thats 663 total loads. Thats been a good mobilization. It will make a difference. We need to keep doing that to mitigate the harm that could happen once the storm goes. Additional personnel and Florida Highway Patrol are all engaged on that debris mission. For the storm, we have 5,000 national guardsman that have been mobilized. We will have before the storm hits, another 3,000 national guardsmen that will be on duty. Well be deploying major Heavy Equipment to assist with Debris Removal. National guard will be a big part of any Search And Rescue that needs to happen as well as helping set up our points of distribution. These Debris And Landfill sites are open, not just from State Assets or from the local Debris Contractors but for private individuals and citizens, and so if you have got a pickup truck, you load debris up. We want you to go and do that. We have had issues with those sites being closed when they should be open 24. We have opened them when we have seen that. Lets keep this going until its no longer safe to do so. Were also cooperating the evacuation of pets to walton countys temporary emergency animal shelter. Obviously we expect floridians to take care of their own pets. You have got pets that are in shelters. We dont want to see them abandoned in areas that are very, very dangerous. Were delivering a Water Tanker to Swanny County and veterinary assistants for hillsborough county. The linemen that are being prestaged as is our practice in florida, we will have over 30,000 linemen. Many are still En Route. Some of them are coming from as far away as california. You have ongoing major Power Restoration missions in georgia and North Carolina. That has taken a lot of resources are committed to neutralizing mutual aid. You have over 30,000 which is a massive number of folks to be staged. Were anticipating significant power outages. Its important that we do that. We have hundreds of state Search And Rescue personnel embedded in impact sites along the West Coast to begin immediate rescue operations. We have established a temporary Base Camp as Tropicana Field in st. Petersburg to support ongoing operations not just with the current debris mission, Post Landfall First Responder missions.
