FS Premier bids farewell to GBV activist

Free State Premier Sisi Ntombela
Free State Premier Sisi Ntombela has described Bereng Soke - Gender Based Violence coordinator in the Office of the Premier - as a true activist.
Ntombela attended Soke’s funeral of in Botshabelo on Friday.
“He worked hard to rid our society of social ills such as the abuse of women and children. The void left by his passing will be felt for years to come” Ntombela in a Facebook post on Friday.
The Premier also said she was moved by the support that was shown by the people of Botshabelo, as well as the presence of the South African Communist Party’s leadership.
