His brother, Robert LeGrice, may have summed him up best.
"He was truly an amazing man," said Robert LeGrice, giving the eulogy for his brother.
Brockton police Lt. Kenneth LeGrice, a longtime Stonehill College softball coach, died May 5 at the age of 62 "after a courageous battle with cancer — one that he fought fiercely until the very end," his obituary said.
"It's a testament to how great Ken's impact on people was how full this church is," said the Rev. Timothy Mouton, the Stonehill College athletic chaplain.
The memories LeGrice left were celebrated by hundreds of friends, family members, athletes and coworkers Tuesday morning at his funeral service at St. Edith Stein Parish in Brockton.
