Giant Labuan Geopark banners: Labuan Corporation clarifies | Daily Express Online

Labuan Corporation (LC) said the giant Labuan Geopark banners draped over Hotel Labuan are meant to promote the new Labuan Geopark to subsequently get recognition as a National Geopark. 
It said the giant banners are one of LC’s alternatives to promote the Labuan Geopark, adding the installation of the banners were completed on Nov 26, 2021. 
“LC would like to clarify that the fire incident that occurred on Jan 10, this year has caused damage to the Geopark banners and also damaged the components on the panels and iron brackets. Therefore, LC has taken off the giant banners on April 10 and no charge was imposed by the contractor for the works,” it said in a statement, Monday
