After visiting Kalapuya Elementary School in Salem Wednesday, Gov. Kate Brown said parents should "absolutely" feel safe to send their kids back next week as Salem-Keizer Public Schools begins its hybrid in-person and remote learning model.
"This district has, frankly, followed every single protocol that's available," Brown said. "They've been working closely with both staff and educators to figure out how to do this safely."
