Today the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office officially granted Apple a patent that relates to MacBooks and notebook-like devices and more particularly, to hinge mechanisms for these devices. The patent describes a MacBook with a new hinge system that will automatically adjust the display, forward, backwards or slightly sideways to ensure that the ideal image on the display remains in-line with the user's eyes using a form of eye-tracking.
