BACOLOD City Police Station 2 is eyeing two possible motives in the killing of a 29-year-old woman in South Capitol Road, Barangay 8, Bacolod City Saturday evening, February 20, 2021.
Police Lieutenant Andy Ofalia, deputy chief of Police Station 2, said Monday that they are eyeing personal grudges or drug-related involvement as possible motives in the killing of Medelyn Benignos, a resident of Barangay 2.
He said before the incident, the victim, who has a stall at 888 Chinatown Square Mall, has a misunderstanding with the other stall owners in the area. She was also seen having a meeting with an identified drug personality in Bacolod.
