On November 14, 2023, Ho Chi Minh City was presented the ASO CIO 2023 award by the Asia-Oceania Computing Industry Organization (ASOCIO) for the category of Excellent Digital Government at the ASOCIO Digital Summit in Seoul, the Republic of Korea.
