Sophomores in Horry County schools looking for a hands-on education can get a glimpse of their future next week when the district's specialty academies open their doors to prospective students. The district’s four unique high schools — the Academy for Arts, Science and Technology (AAST), the Academy for Technology and Academics (ATA); and Early College High School (ECHS) and Scholars Academy High School (SAHS), both of Conway, will be holding open houses.
