VISTA —
Deputies are investigating after a person was found down and unresponsive on a Vista street in a suspected hit and run late Saturday, a sheriff’s lieutenant said.
A 911 caller reported find the person in the middle of East Vista Way near Arcadia Avenue about 11:10 p.m., Lt. Chris Lawrence said.
Paramedics arrived and took the person to a hospital. Lawrence said the person was male, but had no further information about him.
Lawrence said that deputies found debris from a vehicle near the person, and are investigating the incident as a suspected hit and run.
