Homeowner suffers smoke inhalation due to late-night fire in Florence

FLORENCE, S.C. (WMBF) – One person was injured in a late-night fire Friday in Florence.
According to information from the Florence Fire Department, crews responded to a structure fire in the 200 block of Roughfork Street around 11:07 p.m.
When firefighters arrived, they said no flames were showing, but when they went inside the residence, they saw it was filled with smoke.
Crews had the fire under control within 15 minutes after arriving on scene, a press release stated. The cause of the fire was electrical, according to fire officials.
