IN these pages only a few months ago, I wrote of the need for a “coherent strategy for the left.”
With the left in a far better place than we were in 2015, I argued, we should forge “a new direction, building on the foundations already laid, that reckons with our mistakes yet takes advantage of the huge space left by a Labour Party leadership bereft of ideas.”
That new direction is here. Momentum’s strategy document, Socialist Organising for a New Era, is our plan for how we as socialists can build on our victories and chart a new path that will take our movement to greater heights.
